*** SPOKES AT HARRIS HILL ROAD! ***
 
The next Spokes autocross of the season will be a members-only event out at the brand new Harris Hill Road on May 11th!  This promises to be a really unique event and Dan and John from JCAutospec will be handling the event master duties.  Registration is officially capped at 80 entrants but there is a waiting list in effect.  And, just like at our Driveway events, there will be delicious burgers available for purchase.   Happy Mother's Day!  Directions here.
 
*** THE 2008 SOUTHWEST DIVISIONAL SCHEDULE! ***

Four Divisionals this year!  Looking forward to a great series!  You can register for any event of the series at the Axware site just like all Spokes events.  Be sure to pick SOWDIV as your club selection to see all of the events in the series.
  • April 18-20  CenLa Region SCCA @ Expo Center (more info and also here)
  • June 6-8  Lone Star SCCA / Spokes @ TVTC Pearsall (more info)
  • July 18-20  Houston Region SCCA @ Gulf Greyhound (more info)
  • August 22-24 Texas Region SCCA @ Texas Motor Speedway (more info)

Click the event name on the schedule on the right for directions to any event of the season.  A link to the course map (when available) resides there as well.  And, as always, you can pre-register at http://www.axwaresystems.com/axorm.
Race-Day Schedule
  • 8:00-9:00AM REGISTRATION and TECH open. Pre-registered folks must check-in. Work/run assignments will be announced at drivers meeting.
  • 9:00-9:15AM LATE REGISTRATION open. Registrations accepted for an additional $5 charge.
  • 9:00-9:15AM NOVICE WALK-THRU and COURSE OPEN for walking. (Course may be open before 9AM, if available).
  • 9:30AM Mandatory Drivers Meeting at the timing trailer.
  • 9:40AM First Heat Cars To Grid, First Heat Workers to Report.
  • 9:45AM First Car out.
  • Generally a full day affair.  Depending on turnout there may or may not be a lunch break.
  • 10 Items to do on Event day
Club Meetings

*** Next Meeting - Tuesday May 13th @ Pok-e-jo's! ***

Club Meetings are held on the first Tuesday following an event unless otherwise stated. The meeting locations are currently alternating between a North location, Mangia Pizza (Mesa at Spicewood Springs) and a South location, Pok-E-Jo's Brodie Oaks (S. Lamar at 360). Food and beverages begin around 7pm and the meeting begins promptly at 8pm.
