I've lived in Austin for a few years but I finally got a car that I think is worthy of throwing around the cones ('12 v6 mustang).

First off, Do I need to be an official member of Spokes to come drive? I plan on joining anyway but it didn't say anything about it anywhere on the website.

Second, where do I get a decent helmet for cheap? I'd rather try one on in person so I don't get one that's too big/small for my fat head.

I'm kind of excited to try it out, I've heard great things about Autocross from other forums and its always good to get the blood pumping 30 seconds at a time. My son's BMW had an aftermarket HID system put in and it appears to have come up with a defective ballast.
Any sources of a 35w ballast here in town? It is a AGT brand, their standard ballast surprisingly marked AC-STND-BLST.
Closest is the internet, but 4-6 days out.
