2007 Southwest Solo Divisional #2
at TVTC in Pearsall, TX
July 27th-29th, 2007
What's a "Divisional"?The Spokes/LSR Solo Divisional is just one event in the 2007 SCCA Southwest Division Solo Championship Series. This series allows solo competitors from every region in the division to compete against each other for series points toward an overall Divisional Championship trophy! Not only is this great practice for National-level competition but it's also a ton of fun since you get to meet people that run in your class but may not otherwise ever see at a local event.
A Divisional takes place over the course of a weekend and there's plenty of action both on and off the course! Texas Spokes, Road Trip Racing Team, Lone Star Region...these folks know how to party! If the good food and good friends during a Divisional isn't enough to get you out, there's always the great competition format: two courses are run at a Divisional, one course on Saturday and one course on Sunday. Final trophy spots are determined by adding the competitor's fastest run on Saturday with their fastest run on Sunday. Serious excitement all weekend long!
Location:
The Cooper Tire and Vehicle Test Center is a privately owned and operated state-of-the-art testing facility. If this site sounds familiar, it should since it was the location of our 2005 Solo Divisional of the Year! TVTC has once again offered us the use of their 1,000 acre facility to try to go for the glory once again! That's right, the Divisional courses will make use of every inch of their 800'x800' pad of silky-smooth grippy asphalt. TVTC is located about an hour south of San Antonio at 3303 North IH-35, Pearsall, TX 78061.
Directions to TVTC:
- Take I-35 South out of San Antonio.
- Take Exit 104 (first Pearsall exit).
- From exit turn left and continue south on access road.
- First drive on right is entrance to TVTC (approx. 200 yds).
